A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas is an upcoming 3D stoner comedy film directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and written by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg. The film stars John Cho, Kal Penn and Neil Patrick Harris. The main plot follows Harold (Cho) and Kumar (Penn), two estranged friends who embark on an adventure to find a new Christmas tree after Kumar destroys the original. It is a sequel to the 2004 film Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle and the third installment in the Harold & Kumar film series. The film is scheduled for release on November 4, 2011 and will be the first installment to be shown in 3D.

plot:

Six years have elapsed since their last adventure, leaving Harold and Kumar estranged from one another with very different families, friends and lives. But when Kumar arrives on Harold's doorstep during the holiday season with a mysterious package in hand, he inadvertently burns down Harold's father-in-law's beloved Christmas tree. To fix the problem, Harold and Kumar embark on a mission through New York City to find the perfect Christmas tree, once again stumbling into trouble at every single turn.
