Vamps (2012)


Vamps is a horror-comedy film that reunites Clueless director Amy Heckerling with actors Alicia Silverstone and Wallace Shawn and is set to be released Halloween 2012.


The film centers around Stacey and Goody (Krysten Ritter and Alicia Silverstone), two socialite vampires living a good life in New York City. Their lives become complicated when they fall in love with two men while simultaneously being pursued by vampire hunters. Each must make a choice that will jeopardize their immortality. Sigourney Weaver will play vampire queen Ciccerus and Richard Lewis will play an ACLU lawyer. Wallace Shawn and Kristen Johnston play the suspicious parents of Joey (Dan Stevens), Ritter's love interest. Also starring are Malcolm McDowell as Vlad Tepish, who "enjoys wearing velvet jogging suits and knitting," Zak Orth as Stacy and Goody's nerdy friend and Marilu Henner as a woman who regains her youth. Justin Kirk will play a Russian vampire, while Todd Barry will appear as Ciccerus' loyal assistant.
